Who we are

Karakoa Solutions is a remote services agency based in the Philippines, providing IT, virtual assistant, and executive assistant services to businesses in Australia, the United States, and elsewhere. For anything in this policy, contact us at hello@karakoa-solutions.com.

What we collect on this website

As little as possible. This site has no accounts, no contact forms, and no advertising or analytics trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.

If you book a call, scheduling is handled by Calendly, which collects the details you enter (name, email, meeting preferences) under its own privacy policy. If you email us, we keep the correspondence.

What we collect as your service provider

When you become a client, we hold your business contact and billing details, and we access the systems and data you choose to share with us to do the work, always through accounts you own and control, with least-privilege access and two-factor authentication.

We act on your instructions with that data. We do not sell personal information, use client data for our own purposes, or retain access after an engagement ends.

Sharing

We share personal information only with the service providers needed to run our business: hosting, scheduling, invoicing and payments, and only what each one needs. We never share it for marketing, and we disclose it to authorities only where the law requires.

Where your data lives

Our team works from the Philippines, and we comply with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). For Australian clients we handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles; for US clients, consistently with applicable state privacy laws. Client data itself stays in your systems wherever practical.

Retention and your rights

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete it. You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email hello@karakoa-solutions.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes affecting active clients are communicated directly.
